Baimatech Attends the Vehicle-Road-Cloud Development Forum

On August 23, the 2024 Vehicle-Road-Cloud Development Forum was held alongside the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangzhou) Smart Transportation Industry Expo in Guangzhou. The forum, themed “Empowering with Cloud and Data, Smart Vehicle-Road,”explored topics like “Internet of Vehicles and Vehicle-Road-Cloud Collaboration” and “Integrated Development of Vehicle-Road-Cloud,” drawing participation from industry representatives and academic experts nationwide. Create a Next-Generation Transportation Network

The integrated development of vehicles, roads, and cloud technologies is key to building a modern, high-quality transportation network. At the forum, representatives and experts from various industries shared insights on the direction, achievements, challenges, and experiences related to the integrated development of vehicles, roads, and cloud technologies.

A representative from the China Institute of Communications shared practical achievements in Vehicle-Road-Cloud integration, highlighting its applications in smart cities, smart transportation, vehicle management, and industrial development. The presentation also addressed technical challenges in perception, interaction, and decision-making control, along with case studies.

Academic experts discussed pilot projects for advancing Vehicle-Road-Cloud integration, covering intelligent transportation infrastructure, smart connected vehicle applications, standardized testing and evaluation systems, and large-scale demonstration applications.

Upgrades Smart City Industries

The forum also featured a panel discussion titled “Exploring the Path for Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integrated Development,”where industry representatives and experts shared insights on product/innovation R&D, commercial operations, and collaborative integration for stakeholders such as public users, road management departments, connected vehicles, and industrial chain enterprises.

Guangdong Vehicle-Road-Cloud Collaborative Development Community

To support Guangzhou and Shenzhen in becoming national pilot cities for “Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration”in smart connected vehicles and to promote the Greater Bay Area's Internet of Vehicles industry innovation corridor and the "Bay Area Connectivity” project, the forum also saw the launch of the “Guangdong Vehicle-Road-Cloud Collaborative Development Community”initiative.
